The Quality Extended Schools Team was started in September 2004 b
y Denise Phelps and Helen Dear. They are both qualified and experienced Nursery Nurses who wanted to help and support working parents with school aged children by providing childcare either side of the school day.
The company has expanded quickly and now has 5 settings and continues to go from strength to strength.

Q.E.S.T. offers childcare for children from 3 - 12 years of age in a caring, stimulating and encouraging environment. The Nursery is purpose built with a wealth of fun, play based and child initiated activities. Breakfast and after school clubs are available (at the schools shown above) during term time to support working parents who need their children taken care of before/after the school day.
Holiday clubs run throughout all of the school holidays with fun filled days including, visits from drama groups and entertainers including laser tag and the animal man.
The children are taken care of by qualified and experienced staff within the school building.

QEST clubs run holiday clubs throughout all of the school holidays and most TEdays. A booking form will be available a few weeks before the end of term, parents can book as much or as little as necessary for their childcare needs. The sessions include a Full day 8.00am - 6pm, Morning session 8.00am - 1pm, Afternoon session 1pm - 6pm and a new school session to support parents who don't normally need breakfast club or afterschool care 9.00am - 3.30pm. Each day an activity is planned that is approriate to the time of year or for specific celebrations. For instance Easter holiday club will include an Easter egg hunt and making easter arts/crafts. October will be a spooky week with lots of fun dressing up and face painting, making spider biscuits and creating bouncy bats. The long summer holidays mean lots of fun with visiting groups such as laser tag and the animal man. Each day is a different activity with many favourites asked for each year such as Hawiian day making grass skirts and mixing fruit juice cocktails.
